Fifteen Playboy bunny hopefuls strut their stuff Friday 15 October at the Sands Macao Hotel in front of invited guests and a judging panel of Playboy representatives, a Playboy bunny from Las Vegas, Nevada, and local celebrities.
The event marked the start of a global recruitment drive for bunnies to staff the Playboy Macao, which will open for business 20 November 2010.
Playboy Club Macao
Offering a stunning view of the Macau skyline, the 12,000 square foot Playboy Club Macao will occupy the penthouse of the Sands Macao. There will be high-tech media rooms, private gaming areas, live entertainment, and a unique VIP arrival experience. Everything is being adapted for Asian preferences.
Which raises some interesting questions …
Sands Macao opened on 18 May 2004. It was the former Portuguese territory’s first Las Vegas style casino following the opening up of the gambling monopoly. It has 289 suites, several F&B outlets, a theater, an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and salon, conference and banquet facilities, and shows – in addition, of course, to gambling.
A 30,000 square foot Playboy mansion will open in the first quarter of 2012. The location had yet to be revealed.
