What could be more romantic than dinner under the stars, on the beach, and served by barefoot waiters?

And just to rub it in, why not have pictures taken and post them on Facebook?

Hansar Samui on the Southern Thai island of Koh Samui has launched romantic flame-lit beach front dinners for by the light of the silvery moon, complete with barefoot Butler service. 

Hansar Samui’s Executive Chef Stephen Dion has created an series of mouthwatering menus that change every month.

Starters

Highlights of the first month include Tartar of Alaskan Scallop and Scottish Smoked Salmon Cubes with lemon foam green gazpacho, Soulard Foie Gras with Dehydrated Yoghurt, Caramelized peach and Raspberry Essence, and Pecorino Sardo Ravioli with Alaskan King Crab Morsels and Saffron for starters.

Main Course

Mains include Slow Cooked Quercy Lamb with Potato Gnocci, Heirloom Carrots and Guanciale Morel Sauce Tarragon-Marinated Swordfish with Borlotti Bean Puree, Kalamata Olive Tapenade, and Mediterranean Vegetable Rouled Rouliie.

Beverages

All to be washed down with a wide selection of wines, champagne, and cocktails. The meal is priced at Baht 3,999 per couple (US$133), plus applicable Government taxes and service charge.  Beverages are additional.  

Hotel Backgrounder

Located on Koh Samui's Bophut Bay, Hansar Samui has 74 rooms, each with a full seafront view.
