Calling all yogis and would-be yogis
The Global Yogi has a host of listings of yoga events around the world that will be of interest to both long time yoga practitioners and yoga newbies.
“Up until now the world of yoga online has been dominated by directory style sites that give little more that name and contact details, leaving the reader with no real idea of the actual event or yoga studio,” a press release issued by The Global Yogi says.
“The Global Yogi takes the concept of an international yoga website to a whole new level, providing rich and informative article style content about yoga events internationally, and aims to become the leading portal for yoga information and news worldwide.”
Apparently more and more yoga teachers are traveling abroad to give retreats, organize workshops, and train teachers. The site will offer a magazine style directory of yoga events, articles related to yoga, and what it is calling “a virtual home away from home for traveling yogis”.
