Canton Tower soars 600 metres above the landscape of Guangzhou’s Central Business District.
Canton Tower is the world’s tallest TV tower.
It is located in Guangzhou’s Haizhu district, near some of the city’s best hotels, restaurants, spas, shopping malls, tourist attractions, museums, and other cultural venues.
Since Guangzhou hosted the Asian Games in late 2010, Canton Tower has become the city’s favoured tourist attraction for both tourists and locals.
There are several observations decks, which have glazed platforms with transparent floors allowing those that dare to look straight down to the ground.
Later this year, the world’s highest ferris wheel with a track running around Canton Tower’s perimeter will open. There will also be a Gravity Machine that lifts daredevils 38 metres higher into the air and then plunges them to their starting point in mere seconds.
There are two revolving restaurants, two food courts, one VIP restaurant, and various other facilities.
Canton Tower is located at Yuejiang Road West and Yiyuan Raod, in Guangzhou’s Haizhu District.
