The Oakland Raiders travel to Buffalo, New York, to take on the Buffalo Bills, and the 80,000 fan stadium has already sold out.
And rumour has it that more than a few Oakland Raiders fans will be in attendance!
According to one East Coast Raiders fan club, they are hoping to fill an entire section with fans decked out in Silver and Black, with many Raider fanatics coming from as far away as Canada – which isn’t really all that far away when you think of it because Buffalo is located near the Canadian border.
Silver and Black Attack
“Taking over other cities is what we do,” says the New England Raider Boosters on their website.
“Participate in another hostile takeover. FYI: Raiders fans are buying up all the seats in section 101. Let’s turn that section into a sea of black.”
Actually, one fan posted on RaiderFans.Net that one fourth of the fans at Buffalo Bills games are Canadians that arrive by bus to get “totally %&^* faced”.
Which just goes to prove that the Raider Nation knows no national boundary!
