If Oakland Raiders fans are suffering from withdrawal symptoms as their team draws a well needed bye week this Sunday, they have a lot to look forward to next weekend.
Not only are the Raiders playing against their arch rivals, the Denver Broncos, in the Black Hole, a.k.a. the Oakland Coliseum, on Sunday. On Saturday, Raider fans have the Raiders Fan Convention to look forward to. And this year it’s taking place in downtown Oakland!
When and Where
The Raiders Fan Convention will place at the Oakland Convention Center on Saturday 5 November 2011 from 10 am to 4 pm at 1001 Broadway, Oakland, California. The Raiders and the Broncos will take to the field the following day on 6 November at 1.05 pm several miles down the Nimitz Freeway at the Black Hole.
Which raises an interesting question. Where should out of town fans spend the night?
