Press Trip Part 7

Travel Writers from Hong Kong and Singapore check out from their hotel in Zagreb and are driven to Split, Croatia’s 2nd largest city. Along the way they stop to do some sightseeing.

Following a leisurely breakfast at the Regent Explanade Zagreb, we checked out and were driven to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

For thousands of years, waters have flowed over limestone and chalk, creating natural dams that have resulted in lakes, waterfalls, and caves.

The surrounding forests are home to bears, birds, and wolves. We had lunch at the Hotel Bellevue. Then we toured the park.

We spent the night at the Hotel Park Split, which is located in the picturesque city of Split, the second largest city in Croatia.

Qatar Airways now flies daily to Zagreb, Croatia
