Some like it hot! Sichuan Province is famous for its fiery cuisine, and while cooking styles vary from region to region, you can be sure of one thing. If its from Sichuan, it will be hot, hot, hot!


Yunyan Sichuan Restaurant (pictured above) will serve cuisine from the city of Zigong, which is often referred to as “Salt City”, from 1 May until 30 June 2013.


Zigong got the nickname Salt City because it is dotted with salt brine wells.


“Salt’s Gang cuisine features fresh chillies, baby finer, and a heavy use of beef,” says Yunyan’s Executive Chef.


“The signature dishes are characterized by strong spicy flavours.

Yunyan Sichuan Restaurant is located on the fourth floor of the
Miramar Shopping Centre at 132-134 Nathan Road in Kowloon. It will serve
cuisine from the city of Zigong from 1 May until 30 June 2013.
