Travel + Leisure India and South Asia has named the Venetian Macao the World’s Best Luxury Resort for the second year in a row. The hotel has 3,000 rooms, shopping, gaming, entertainment, and facilities for MICE.
“The Venetian Macao is very pleased to be recognised by the readers of Travel + Leisure for the second year running,” says Mark McWhinnie, Senior Vice President of Operations, The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel and Sands Cotai Central.
“The entire team works very hard to help distinguish us through service quality and our integrated resort product offering – from our suites and entertainment, to our dining, retail and facilities for conventions and exhibitions.”
India and Southeast Asia are becoming key markets for Macau. The former Portuguese enclave welcomed 1.4 million visitors from India and Southeast Asia in 2012.
“We’ve been very happy to welcome such a large number of visitors from these two regions to our integrated resorts, and we thank the readers of Travel + Leisure India & South Asia for their vote of confidence,” Mark says.
