Twenty-eight travel bloggers, travel writers, and travel photographers from 12 countries have been invited by the Canadian Tourism Commission to travel across Canada in the Runup to TBEX North America 2013.

The bloggers have been split into three groups, each with a different itinerary.

One group of bloggers will travel from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Toronto, Ontario, by train, making a stop in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Another group of bloggers will travel from Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Toronto by way of Moncton, New Brunswick, and Montreal, Quebec – also by train. A third group of bloggers will fly from Newfoundland to Toronto by way of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

“We know that sharing authentic experiences is the best way to inspire travelers, and we’re confident the bloggers will have plenty to write home about after immersing themselves in  Canadian cities, culture, and cuisine,” says Greg Klassen, CTC Senior Vice-President, Marketing Strategy and Communications.

TBEX bills itself as the world’s largest gathering of travel bloggers, travel writers, and creators of New Media Content.

TBEX North America 2013 will be held in Toronto, Ontario, from 31 May to 2 June. Later in the year, TBEX Europe 2013 will be held in Dublin, Ireland, on 3 and 4 October.
