Corporate Social Responsibility
Management and staff at Hansar Samui, a stylish boutique resort hotel on the Southern Thai Island of Koh Samui, visited Watrathbumrung School to donate supplies as part of its on-going commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
Each one of the 90 students at the school was given a school bag with books and a set of stationery inside. Most of the students are sons and daughters of farmers or tree plantation workers.
The US$2,500 raised to buy the school supplies was raised through the sale of hand-made Thai elephant toys that were sold in the hotel’s lobby.
