Tamarind, a Thai restaurant in Hong Kong, will launch a Chiang Mai food promotion on 15 August 2013. It will run through 15 September 2013. Featured dishes will include popular street fare.
Expect Khao Soi, a popular street dish that is not usually found at Thai restaurants, Kaeng Hang Lei , a stewed pork curry, which doesn’t contain a drop of coconut milk, and a northern-style sliced spicy duck salad served with lettuce leaves.
Master Chef Amoo
Chef Wijannarongk Kunchit, better known as Master Chef Amoo, is that brains behind the innovative menu.
Master Chef Amoo is a native of Chiang Mai, which is known as the Cultural Capital of Thailand. He worked with master chefs in Chiang Mai before moving to Hong Kong in 1998. He has also trained in Vietnam.

Formerly known as Duetoo, Tamarind serves a pan-Asian menu, featuring the yummiest of Thai, Indian, and Vietnamese dishes. The restaurant both indoor and outdoor dining.
