Budget air carrier HK Express will give away up to 50 round trip airline tickets to Japan, up to 500 round trip tickets to China, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Thailand, and 500 mystery prizes at a paper airplane contest.
The event will be held on Saturday 5 October 2013 at PopCorn Mall, which is located at the Tseung Kwan O MTR Station in Kowloon.
Contestants will have to “fly” their planes through small to medium sized targets.
The winners flying their planes through small targets will win round trip airline tickets to Osaka or Tokyo-Haneda in Japan.
Those flying their planes through medium sized targets will win tickets to Chiang Mai, Thailand; Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia; Kunming, China: Penang, Malaysia; Phuket, Thailand; or Taichung, Taiwan.
“We are really excited to launch our first ever paper plane competition,” says Andrew Cowen, Deputy C.E.O. of HK Express.
“This is an exciting challenge for all the family to enjoy and our team can’t wait to see what creative designs Hongkongers will come up with. And let’s face it, as a child who didn’t love making and throwing paper planes!”
HK Express will launch low-cost airline service from Hong Kong to regional travel destinations on 27 October 2013.
