Other than Chinese cuisine, Japanese cuisine is surely the most popular fare in Hong Kong. So the arrival of Manabu Oikawa as the new Japanese Chef De Cuisine at Tokoro – Robatayaki & Whisky Bar is surely cause for celebration.


Chef Manabu has manned the kitchens of some of the top Japanese restaurants in Japan, New York, London, and Hong Kong.

He will work closely with the beverage team to showcase the whiskey bar’s stellar collection of Scotch, Japanese whiskies, and sakes.
