A five star hotel to open in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2017 will be managed by Rosewood Hotels and Resorts. It is the hotel group’s fourth management agreement to be announced in the Asia Pacific this year and the ninth to be announced overall globally.
The 146 room hotel will be located on Ploenchit Road next to the Ploenchit Skytrain Station, which will have a direct link to the hotel. The district is home to several embassies as well as residential towers, office blocks, and upscale shopping malls.
The hotel will have two food and beverage outlets, a spa, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, and meeting and function facilities, which will include a Sky Villa event space offering panoramic views of the Thai capital.
Cultural elements reflecting Thailand’s unique heritage will be integrated into the hotel’s design.
