Emirates Airline re-opens its newly refurbished lounge for Business and First Class passengers at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport following at US$1 million (THA 30 million) makeover.
LED TVs, comfortable leather armchairs, a choice of formal and relaxed seating, a quiet area, a dining area with a complimentary hot and cold buffet and beverage service, a prayer room, shower facilities, a business centre, a water feature, and bespoke artworks are among the many amenities.
“The refurbishment of this lounge is an integral part of our premium product and service strategy. We’ve invested to provide our premium passengers with an exclusive area to rest and refresh while traveling,” says Jabr Al-Azeeby, Emirates’ Area Manager of Thailand and Indochina.
“Suvarnabhumi Airport Lounge is in a new design that reflects the modern style of the Emirates lounges at Dubai’s Concourse A, the world’s largest A380 hub."
Emirates operates 3 daily Airbus A380 flights linking Bangkok with its hub in Dubai. It also operates A380s on the Bangkok-Hong Kong route. It launched a daily direct flight to Phuket in December 2012.
