Australia: Sydney to Host the World Cup of Gay Rugby!


Sydney plays host to the World Cup of Gay Rugby, a.k.a. the Bingham Cup. The 8 day festival of gay and lesbian rugby kicks off on 25 August 2014, attracting thousands of rugby players and rugby fans from around the world

Roughly 2,000 players from more than 15 countries will be represented in the World Cup of Gay Rugby, which opens on Sunday 24 August 2014 for an 8 day run.

There will be parties, film screenings, outdoor social gatherings, bar tours, and other events. Some events will be free, and others will require tickets.

Running 3 days, the rugby tournament will begin on Friday 29 Sunday. Games will be played at various rugby venues throughout the Sydney.
