The route through downtown Bangkok will begin and end at the Amari Watergate Bangkok, one of the event’s co-sponsors. BMW Thailand is also co-sponsoring the event.

At the conclusion of the event, participants will be invited to a cocktail party at Henry J. Bean’s Bar & Grill, a food and beverage outlet at the hotel.

Proceeds from the midnight run will be donated to 3 major Thai charities: Chalerm Prakiat HRH Princess Sirindhorn School, which supports the education of children whose parents die of AIDS; Baan Gerda Children's Project, which supports HIV-infected orphans in Nongmuang, Lopburi province; and Baht for a Better Life, a project dedicated to offering educational opportunities for underprivileged children in Bangkok and rural areas.

“We encourage folk from far and wide, of all ages, to be part of something very special and at the same time help us make a difference for three great charities who desperately need our support,” says Pierre-Andre Pelletier, General Manager of Amari Watergate Bangkok.

International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF) standard regulations will be followed.
