China: Five Star Hotel in Zhuhai Gets Set to Open in Early April


The finishing touches are being put on the rooms at the Sheraton Zhuhai Hotel, a 5 star hotel in Zhuhai, which will welcome its first guests on 1 April 2015. It adjoins the city's Convention and Exhibition Center.

The Sheraton Zhuhai Hotel is rapidly nearing completion. It will welcome its first guests in April 2015.

The hotel is located on the waterfront in the newly launched Shizimen Central Business District. The Zhuhai International Convention and Exhibition Center is located right next door.

The 19-story hotel will have 544 rooms, an all-day international buffet, a lobby lounge, a Chinese restaurant, an American style pub, and a grab-and-go outlet for hungry travellers on the run.

The hotel also has 2,070 square metres of meeting space, a fitness centre, a tennis court, indoor and outdoor swimmimg pools, and a children's pool.

Zhuhai 101

Located just north of Macau, Zhuhai is located on the Southern coast of China's Guangdong Province.

Zhuhai is one of China's greenest, prettiest, and least crowded cities. It also has a lovely waterfront facing the South China Sea.

With its many parks, heritage sites, nearby hot spring resorts, and factories where antiques are given a new lease on life, the city is popular with Chinese tourists.

The hotel is located in Xiangzhou, one of Zhuhai's key shopping districts. Government offices, large department stores, bars, and restaurants dot the neighborhood.

Several islands with sandy beaches, excellent diving, and excellent seafood restaurants can be reached from Xiangzhou Northern Wharf.

Zhuhai can be reached from Macau by land. It also has an airport with links to Shanghai and other travel destinations in China.
