China: Korean Airline to Launch 4 New Chinese Routes

Korean Air adds 4 new routes between 3 Korean travel destinations and 4 Chinese travel destinations in the first half of 2015, including Hefei, which is close to one of China's most important tourist attractions.

Huangshan, one of China's sacred mountains, is located in Anhui province. It is famous for beautiful sunrises, goregous pine trees, hot springs, and artistically shaped mountain peaks – the inspiration for countless Chinese ink paintings. A popular tourist site, Huangshan draws nearly 2 million tourists a year. Korean Air will launch new routes between 3 cities in Korea and 4 cities in China in the first half of 2015.

The new airline routes will link Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) with Hefei Luogang International Airport (HFE) in Anhui province and Seoul Incheon with Nanning Wuxu International Airport (NNG) in the Guangxi Automomous Region.

The airline's other 2 routes will link Jeju International Airport (CJU) with Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport (KWE) and Daegu International Airport (TAE) with Shenyang Taoxian International Airport (SHE) in Liaoning province.

Flights on the Incheon – Nanning route will commence on 20 March 2015. Flights on the Incheon – Nanning and Jeju – Guiyanag routes will commence on 11 May. Flights on the Daegu – Shenyang route will commence on 22 June.

The airline will operate Boeing 737-800s on the route.
