2017 Wine and Dine Festival Kicks Off Today in Hong Kong!

Hong Kong Wine and Dine Month is a 40 day celebration of food and beverage that kicks off with a four day festival that is taking place under under azure skies and temperate temps in Hong Kong  this year.

Hong Kong Wine and Dine Month is a 40 day celebration of food and beverage. There will be a four day outdoor wine and dine festival followed by a series of culinary events that are being held  all over town.

The Wine and Dine Festival will be staged on the waterfront in Central on Hong Kong Island. And the weather couldn’t be more cooperative! The skies are sunny, the temps are comfortable, and the humidity is low.

More than 300 booths will serve quality wines and beers from around the world as well as mouth-watering dishes.

Many of the booths will be operated by some of Hong Kong’s top food and beverage outlets – both hotel restaurants and free-standing eateries.

One of the highlights will be the Riedel Grand Tasting Pavilion, where premium wines will be served in Riedel’s sculpted glassware.

There will be a large outdoor stage with live music and other kinds of entertainment..

The festivities will continue until the end of November, with street carnivals, restaurant festivals, and various kinds of wine and dine promotions, which will be held all over town.

International Wine and Spirits Fair

One of the most important ancillary events will be the 8th Annual Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair, which will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wanchai from 9 to 11 November 2017.

The Wine and Spirits Fair is targeted primarily at the trade and will include competitions, conferences, wine tastings, and master classes.

Many of the attendees will be buyers sourcing wines and related products and services for their businesses.

There were 1,067 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions at the fair last year, with 19,418 buyers from 75 countries and regions attending the event.

The first 2 days are open only to the trade. The public is welcome to attend the fair’s final day on Saturday 11 November.

The Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair is organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
