Macau Restaurant Review

The Manor at the St Regis Macao, Cotai Central, is an all-day dining restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in five bespoke spaces – each with its own personality.

The St Regis Macao, Cotai Central, has two food and beverage outlets: a restaurant and a lounge.

The hotel’s restaurant, The Manor, serves a breakfast buffet with Asian and Western dishes served from buffet tables.

Included are noodle and congee stations. Eggs are booked to order.

Diners can also order several specialty dishes from an a la carte menu.

I had breakfast both mornings of my two-night stay at The Manor.

At lunch and dinner, the restaurant features seafood, grilled meats, and Italian specialties. I had lunch at The Manor on my second stay.

My two hosts from the hotel’s Public Relations Department and I shared three yummy starters – and a stimulating conversation!

I'm not sure which I enjoyed more – the food or the conversation!

For my main course, I opted for the Miyazaki wagyu A5 served with heirloom baby carrots and seasoned with Sichuanese spices.

Sichuanese spices have a distinct taste sensation, which is difficult to describe.

The numbing sensation they cause in the mouth also make them difficult to pair with wines.

But the wine recommended by the knowledgeable waitress proved to be right on target.

Casual? Inviting? Intimate? Secluded? Traditional? If the restaurant has a unique selling proposition, it is its unique configuration.

There are five separate dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and interior design:

  • The Verandah
  • The Dining Room
  • The Wine Gallery
  • The Penthouse Kitchen
  • The Library
