Discovery Primea in Manila takes health and wellness more seriously than most hotels, wih facilities and services most other hotels haven’t even thought of. Would you believe a 24/7 wellness clinic and an ambulance on call?
Terazi is the spa at the Discovery Primea Makati in Manila, the national capital of the Philippines.
Located on the Third Floor of the hotel, the spa offers a full menu of massages, facials, body scrubs, body wraps, and bath creations.
The spa also offers tea and spa bundles, which include a massage or facial at the spa and high tea at The Gilarmi Lounge, the hotel’s Filipino-inspired lounge on the Lobby Level.
Facilities include a hammam, the only authentic Turkish bath in Metro Manila.
During my two-night hosted stay at the hotel, I enjoyed a complimentary signature treatment at the spa.
I wish I could describe the treatment in detail. Unfortunately, (or fortunately, perhaps), I quickly fell asleep, awakening an hour later feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Other Hotel Wellness Facilities
The hotel takes health and wellness more seriously than most hotels. In addition to the spa, there is a beauty salon, a well-equipped gym, and one of the best hotel swimming pools I have ever done laps in.
More unusually, there is also a 24-hour wellness clinic, and an ambulance that is kept on call 24/7.
There is a chapel to meet the spiritual needs of hotel guests.
For those in need of retail therapy, there is a shop with some very tempting handicrafts, articles of clothing, pieces of art, and souvenirs.
