Hotels and Resorts

Anantara Hotels and Resorts operates one of the most luxurious resort hotels in Chiang Mai, Thailand's second largest city. It is located along the shores of the Mae Ping River.

Chiang Mai is full of temples, ruins from the Lanna Kingdom, and teeming markets. There are also trendy boutiques, art galleries, cafes, and Thai eateries.

Chiang Mai is a four hour drive from the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp and Resort. Elephant trekking, bamboo river rafting, and visits to national parks, hill tribes, and handicraft villages can all be arranged.

Golfing and sunset river cruises are other options. Those wanting to stay closer to home can explore the city of Chiang in Thaland's world-famous three-wheeled tuk-tuks.
