Avani Hotels and Resorts will develop its first resort hotel in Mauritius along an unspoiled stretch along the island’s southern coast. The property is scheduled to open in 2021.
Targeted at honeymooners, adventure seekers, and eco-tourists, the Avani Bel-Ombre Mauritius Resort and Spa will be situated in Savanne, which has rugged cliffs, sandy coves, sugarcane plantations, and traditional fishing villages.
Project Brief
When the resort opens in 2021, the Avani Bel-Ombre Mauritius Resort and Spa will offer dramatic views of Indian Ocean coupled with exclusivity.
There will be varied upscale accommodation and family friendly amenities in an untouched beach paradise.
The hotel will have 150 guest rooms, including 134 standard rooms and 16 suites. Twelve four bedroom pool villas will be included in the development.
Food and beverage outlets will include a specialty restaurant and an all-day dining restaurant.
Other facilities will include a spa, a kids club, a gym, a pantry, a beach activities centre, and two swimming pools.
There will also be large multi-functional meeting space that can be used for meetings, conferences, and weddings

The Avani Bel-Ombre Mauritius Resort and Spa will be located a 30 minutes' drive from Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, which is the country’s main international airport.
