Nashville, Tennessee, is home of the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). The Tennessee Titans play at Nissan Stadium, which is across the Cumberland River from downtown Nashville. Here’s is a complete travel guide for visiting Oakland Raider fans.

The Oakland Raiders will face the Tennessee Titan at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, for the second year in a row on Sunday 10 September 2017.

Raider Nation Gets Set to Black Out Nashville

Raider Nation of Memphis, Tennessee.

The Raider Nation has a full weekend planned, with events Friday night, Saturday night, and game day in the parking lot.

A Raiders fans meet and greet will be held on Friday 8 September at Coyote Ugly Saloon at 154 Second Avenue North, Nashville, Tennessee, starting at 7 pm.

Raider Nation of Memphis and the Titans Fan Club of Memphis are jointly hosting a pre-game party on Saturday 9 September at the 404 Bar and Grill at 404 Elysian Fields, Nashville, Tennessee. The doors will open at 8 pm.  There will be food and drink specials.

Charlie Boots, Brian Rowe, Roland Echeverria, and Joseph Pardo will host a Nashvegas Get Down party at Headquarters Beercade at 114 Second Avenue South in downtown Nashville on Saturday 9 September  at 8 p.m. $10 cover charge, 10% of the venue’s take will go to OPERATION STAND DOWN of Tennessee. There will be a tailgate gathering at Lot N on game day with a DJ. There’s no charge, but bring your own bottle.

Top Tourist Attractions

Downtown Nashville is home to most of the city’s top tourist attractions. Here are some of the “must see” attractions that Raider fans should check out while they’re in Music City …

• Adventure Science Center – this hands-on museum and planetarium has exhibits focusing on ecology, technology, and health.
• Opry Mills – shop till you drop at Tennessee’s largest value and outlet shopping destination. More than 200 shops!
• The Parthenon – situated in Centennial Park, this full scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece, houses an important collection of 18th and 19th Century American art.

Where to Stay

Because of bridges across the river, however, many of these hotels and motels are still only just a short walk from the stadium where the Tennessee Titans play.

Several hotels and motels are, in fact, within a seven to 30 minute walk of the stadium, including three on the East side of the river and 10 on the west side of the river.
