Food + Beverage
Marriott International has launched the new Club Marriott in Hong Kong, which integrates Club Marriott, Eat Drink and More, and Star Privilege into a single paid membership dining loyalty programme.
The newly combined Club Marriott will provide members with more choices and benefits whenever they dine out in their hometowns or visit one of the 250 participating hotels across 16 brands in 13 countries across the Asia Pacific.
Gala Launch Party
The Club Marriott loyalty dining programme was announced at a gala cocktail party at the Mirage Restaurant and Bar at the Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View, a five-star hotel in Wanchai on Hong Kong Island.
Offering spectacular views of Victoria Harbour, the hotel adjoins the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Mouthwatering snacks were laid out on buffet tables. They were also served by servers who circulated through the crowd.
The snacks were washed down by copious quantities of champagne, red and white wine, and some fabulous cocktails that were created by resident bartenders – or should I say mixologists? My favourite, if I remember correctly, was called Ex Con.
There were presentations made by local and visiting VIPs, who gathered on the stage for the requisite photo shoot.
But mostly it was about having a good time – and looking forward to the arrival of that one-year membership that we were promised!
