Boston Celtics Team History
The Boston Celtics are a professional American basketball team. They play in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Founded in 1946, The Celtics play home games at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, a multi-purpose facility.
In addition to the Boston Celtics, the Garden plays host of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League.
When sporting events are not scheduled, the Boston Garden hosts concerts and conventions.
The Boston Celtics have won 22 division titles, 21 conference titles, and 17 NBA championships. The basketball team’s last NBA championship was in 2008.
