One of Hong Kong’s most luxurious hotels offers local foodies an overnight Hong Kong foodie staycation. It includes one night’s accommodation, buffet breakfast for two, and one or two more meals. The special promotion is good through 30 September 2020.
Where to Eat in Hong Kong
JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong is a five-star hotel. It occupies a prestigious location atop the Pacific Place shopping mall in Admiralty on Hong Kong Island.
Most importantly, the hotel has eight of the most popular restaurants in Hong Kong.
Included is a fine-dining Chinese restaurant, a pan-Asian cafe, a steak house. a seafood restaurant, a pub, a bakery, and two lounges. The list goes on.
Time for a Hong Kong Staycation?
Because of COVID-19, out-of-town trips are out of the question. Even a trip to Macau requires a 14-day quarantine.
However, not everyone is happy sheltering at home. In fact, some people in Hong Kong are suffering from cabin fever.
As a result, many people in Hong Kong are thinking about taking a Hong Kong staycation. In other words, they would like to spend one or two nights at a Hong Kong hotel.

Firstly, the promotion includes a hotel room for two people. Secondly, it includes a sumptuous buffet breakfast.
Finally, hotel guests can enjoy one or two additional meals at the hotel. These meals are either buffets or set menus.
Highlights include scallops from the United States, king crab legs from Japan, Boston lobsters from Canada, Iberico pork from Spain, salmons from Norway, truffles from Italy, asparagus from Australia and so on.
Not surprisingly, the hotel is calling it a trip around the world in 80 tastes!
The JW Marriott Hong Kong has 609 beautifully furnished guestrooms and suites.
All rooms and suites have ergonomic work stations. In addition, wi-fi is free.
All rooms and suites have marble bathrooms with lighted make-up mirrors. They have views of Victoria Harbour, the city, or the nearby mountains.
Rooms range from 348 square feet (31 square meters) to 395 square feet 36 square meters. And they have either one king-size bed or two twin beds.
One-bedroom suites measure from 700 square feet (or 63 square meters) to 853 square feet (77 square meters). And they have a spacious living room with a dining area.
Most impressive, the Admiralty suites measure 1,201 square feet, or 108 square meters. Not only does it have a separate living room and bedroom. In addition, the spacious suite has two bathrooms!
Food and Beverage
The Hong Kong JW Marriott hotel has eight food and beverage outlets. And each eatery has a different menu and a different vibe.
Man Ho Chinese Restaurant
As the hotel’s signature restaurant, the Man Ho Chinese Restaurant serves authentic Chinese cuisine in elegant surroundings. In addition to mouth-watering dim some, expect live seafood. Moreover, there is a comprehensive selection of Chinese teas. Open for lunch and dinner.
As the hotel’s international eatery, JW Cafe serves global favourites in an informal atmosphere. Not only are there buffets with live food stations. In addition, there are a la carte selections. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
As the hotel’s al fresco dining option, Fish Bar overlooks the swimming pool. In addition to fresh fish are other seafood options. Why not order something from the daily catch? And you can wash it down with a refreshing cocktail. Open for lunch and dinner.
As the hotel’s steak house, Flint focuses on mouth-watering burgers and succulent steaks. In addition, there are seasonal dishes and set menus. Open for lunch and dinner.
As the hotel’s Asian outlet, The Lounge offers tempting buffets, with a focus on pan-Asian dishes. However, you can also order a la carte. Open for lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.
As the hotel’s popular pub, Bar Q88 serves premium spirits, champagnes, craft beers, and signature cocktails. Moreover, there is a lively band! Open from noon until 12 midnight most nights. And it stays open until 1 am Friday and Saturday.
For a quick indulgence, check out the sweet treats at Dolce 88. You can wash down baked goods, paninis, and salads with gourmet coffees and fine wines. Open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and early dinners.
The Hong Kong JW Marriott has a heated outdoor swimming pool. And the extended hours run from 6 am to 11 pm. In addition to the swimming pool is a whirlpool.
Meanwhile, the hotel has a well-equipped fitness centre. Not only is there cardiovascular equipment. In addition to Life Fitness equipment, there are also free weights.
Moreover, the gym offers free fitness classes. In addition, yoga, and pilates classes are offered on Saturdays next to the swimming pool.
Unfortunately, the pool and the gym might be closed because of COVID-19.
As one of Hong Kong’s most luxurious five-star hotels, the Hong Kong JW Marriott is located atop the Pacific Place shopping mall on Hong Kong Island.
Pacific Place is an integrated commercial, entertainment, and shopping complex. In fact, it is a short walk from Central, to the West, and Wanchai, to the East.
In addition, the Admiralty MTR station is within walking distance. And the entire walk is indoors. But the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre is a bit more of a hike.
