Kyoto Takaragaike  Prince Hotel joins more than 190 of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection of hotels. As with all the others, it has its own distinct personality. Not only is it next to a beautiful park. In addition. it has 310 rooms.

Kyoto is one of Japan’s loveliest cities. In fact, many people think of Kyoto as Japan’s cultural capital.

Consequently, Kyoto is one of the leading tourist attractions in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Not only do Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines dot the city. In addition, there are numerous palaces, gardens, and museums.

In fact, some of them collectively comprise a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike, Autograph Collection, sits at the heart Rakuhoku district in Northern Kyoto.

In fact, the Prince Kyoto Takaragaike is adjacent to Takaragaike Park, which has paths offering scenic views of cherry blossoms in the spring and and autumn leaves in the fall.

Consequently, the park was long favoured by the city’s gentry.

Nearby attraction include the 17th-century Shugakuin Imperial Villa and the Kinkakuji Temple, which is covered in golf leaf.

The hotel is a short walk from Kokusaikaikan Station. In addition, it is 58 kilometers from Osaka International Airport.

  • Ito-Zakura, is the hotel’s main restaurant. While it serves French cuisine, chefs source local and regional ingredients from the region. As an all-day dining eatery, it opens for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Takaragaike Japanese Restaurant serves traditional Kyoto dishes and other regional favorites. As an all-day dining eatery, it opens for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Tohen Chinese Restaurant serves Beijing style cuisine. In fact, it serves both set menus and a la carte dishes. And it opens for both  lunch and dinner.
  • Mizu-No-Ne is the hotel’s lobby lounge. Not only does it serve oven-fresh baked breads, cakes, and pastries. In addition, they can be washed down with herbal teas and specialty coffees.
  • Bar Ascot is an English-style bar serving drinks and cocktails.
