Bali is a relatively small island within the world’s largest archipelago. It is a province of Indonesia, the world’s fourth most populous country.
Bali has a unique culture. The overwhelming majority of the people are Hindu, and religion forms an important part of their lives. They pray daily, wear beautiful clothes, and make frequent offerings to the gods.
Bali has something for everyone. You can luxuriate at sybaritic spas, go white water rafting through raging rapids, go trekking atop mountain ridges, or shop till you drop at the street markets of Kuta or the fashion boutiques of Seminyak.
You will find over-the-top resorts as well as inexpensive budget accommodation, haute cuisine at fine dining restaurants and cheap but delicious food at the informal warung that dot the landscape.
No wonder Bali is one of the world’s most popular leisure travel destinations!
