Is June a good time to visit Bali? In fact, Bali in June is both the dry season and the peak season. So the good news is, it will be sunny and dry almost every day. In other words, you can spend lots of time soaking up the sun or taking a dip in the ocean or a pool. But the bad news is, because it is peak season, bargains will be hard to find. Weather in Bali in June
Bali has two seasons: wet and dry. Wet season runs from October to April. And dry season runs from May to September.
Because Bali is near the Equator, there is little variation in temperature from month to month. However, there is more chance of rain during wet season. And the humidity tends to higher, as well.
In fact, June falls in the middle of the dry season in Bali. That means lower humidity and fewer rainy days than during wet season.
In terms of temperature, the average high temperature in Bali in June is 26.5 degrees Celsius, or 79 degrees Fahrenheit.

Things to Do in Bali in June Â
Three of the highest profile events of the year take place or get underway in June. And they include a film festival, an arts festival and a food festival.
There is also a national holiday as well as important Muslim and Hindu festivals.
Bali has an amazing ability to surprise you with unexpected processions and ceremonies and festivities. Even your tour guide might be surprised! But they are far too many – and localized – to list.Â
Ubud Food Festival –Â Â 30 May to 1 June 2025

More than 100 food industry professionals from across Indonesia and around the world will travel to Bali to take part in this year’s Ubud Food Festival.
Chefs, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs, farmers, food writers, scientists, and activists will conduct cooking demonstrations and workshops, giving festival goers the chance to perfect their culinary skills.
There will be a variety of special events during the three-day festival.
The programme will include food forums, food tours, coffee workshops, film screenings, cooking demonstrations, food talks, workshops, masterclasses, and live performance.
Free events will include visits to night markets and live music after dark.
Participants will learn that there is far more to Indonesia than rendang, sate, gado gado, and nasi goreng!

Pancasila Day – 1 June 2025

The nation of Indonesia was founded on 1 June 1945. On that day, President Sukarno gave a famous speech outlining the five principles that would become the foundation of Indonesia.

- Democracy through deliberation and consensus among representatives
- Social justice for all the people of Indonesia
Pancasila Day is a national holiday in Indonesia. Schools and most businesses are closed. Interestingly, it is a relatively new holiday in Indonesia. While it has been recognized since 1945, Pancasila Day only became an official holiday in 2016. And it is always celebrated on June First.
In Bali, Pancasila Day is known as Conversation Between the Sky and the Earth.
Balinale – Bali International Film Festival – 1 to 7 June 2025Â
The Bali International Film Festival, a.k.a. Balinale, showcases independent and award-winning films from Indonesia and other countries around the world. And included are fiction, documentaries, features films, and short films.

Tumpek Krulut – 7 June 2025
Tumpek Krulut is one of the six auspicious days on the Balinese Pawukon Calendar. These days occur when the fifth day of the five-day Balinese week falls on a Saturday. And this happens every 35 days. In fact, it takes 210 days to complete the cycle. To clarify, the Balinese Pawukon Year has 210 days.
Tumpek Krulut is the fourth day in the Tumpek cycle. And it is the day that the Balinese pay respect to musical instruments such as bronze gamelans, masks, and dance costumes. Devotees lay objects in front of a large gong. And they recite prayers, sprinkle holy water, and make small offerings.

Perang Pandan – 2025 Date to Be Announced
A traditional Balinese coming of age ritual, Perang Pandan is a highlight of the Usaba Sambah festival, which lasts about a month. During the event, young males fight each other in a friendly battle with bamboo shields and pandanus leaves.
Held in the villages of Tenganan Pergringsingan and Tenganan Dauh Tukad.
Idul Adha – 7 June 2025Â
Idul Adha is a Islamic holiday in Indonesia, which is a predominately Muslim country. While Bali is predominately Hindu, the island has a large Muslim minority.
As with the rest of Indonesia, schools and most businesses on the island are closed.
Idul Adhait falls on the 10th day of the last month on the Islamic Calendar. It is also known as the Day of Sacrifice. Idul Adha is a feast day for Muslims. And many Muslim families sacrifice a sheep, goat or cow on this day. ,Â

While Indonesia straddles the Equator, Bali lies 8 degrees south of it. Therefore, technically speaking, the Solstice taking place in June should be called the Winter Solstice. And the one falling in December should be called the Summer Solstice.
Bali Arts Festival –Â 2025 Dates to Be Announced
The Bali Arts Festival is the largest and and the longest arts festival of the year in Indonesia. And its purpose is to preserve the classical arts and traditions of each locale. For example, there are parades, competitions. exhibitions, and workshops.
The festival usually starts on the second Saturday of June. And it finishes in July.
