The Lancaster Bar is the lobby lounge of The Lancaster Bangkok, but it serves more than cocktails and bar snacks. It is actually an all-day dining F&B outlet serving à la carte breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas, and dinners – with a menu ranging from Western favorites to local street food and Indian curries.

The Lancaster Bar – Overview
The Lancaster Bar is the the lobby bar of The Lancaster Bangkok, a five-star hotel located in the up-and-coming Makkasan section of the Big Mango. It is one of four food-and-beverage outlets at the prestigious hotel.
By day, the Lancaster Bar is filled with natural light streaming in through its floor‑to‑ceiling windows, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.
As evening falls, the mood transforms into something more intimate and sophisticated, with dimmed lighting and a focus on cocktails, wines, and bar snacks — the perfect backdrop for unwinding after a day in the city.
Conveniently, the hotel is located near both the Phetchaburi subway station and the Airport Rail Link Makkasan Station.
The Menu

The Lancaster Bar’s menu extends well beyond drinks, offering Western favorites such as salads, healthy bowls, soups, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, pasta, and seafood.
Bangkok‑style street food adds a local touch, while Indian curries provide a surprising twist. In the afternoon, the bar takes on a refined air with its tea service, complete with delicate pastries and savory bites.
As evening falls, the atmosphere shifts again, becoming more intimate and sophisticated, with dimmed lighting and a focus on cocktails, wines, and bar snacks — the perfect backdrop for unwinding after a day in the city.
My Meal

This was my fourth stay at The Lancaster Bangkok. While I had enjoyed cocktails on my earlier visits, this was the first time I decided to dine there.
During my visit, there were four Siam special lunches, which included chicken green curry, chilies and shrimp paste fried rice, braised beef boat noodles, and deep fried pork belly on my visit.
It was a difficult choice, but I finally chose the Chicken Green Curry, which comprised chicken, coconut  milk, chilies, and Thai basil. It came with a bread basket and two types of crispy roti .
I was a bit surprised that the Thai-style curry was accompanied by a Western-style bread basket and Indian style breads.Â

Orange Coffee is usually roughly 50% espresso and 50% orange juice. I know it sounds strange, but it is actually quite refreshing.
And the version at The Lancaster Bar did not disappoint! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
