Travelodge Hotels Asia has opened its first hotel in Korea, the Travelodge Dongdaemun in Seoul, South Korea, the nation’s capital. The hotel is the hotel group's eighth property in Asia. It already has hotels in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, with more Asian hotels in the pipeline.
Athletes from 90 nations will compete in seven sports and 15 disciplines in the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. The Opening Ceremony will be held on 9 February 2017; the Closing Ceremony, on 25 February.
