Marriott International Opens Hotel Near Haeundae Beach in Busan, Korea

Marriott has opened its second Fairfield by Marriott hotel in Korea, and the first Fairfield hotel in Busan. Located near the beach, the 225-room Fairfield by Marriott Busan is the latest addition to the more than 950 Fairfield by Marriott properties worldwide.

Fairfield by Marriott Busan is located in Busan near Haeundae Beach, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful and best beaches in South Korea.

Not only is Busan a popular beach resort, attracting mostly domestic tourists during the summer months.

Busan is also South Korea’s second-largest city, its main commercial port, a popular destination for major conferences, and home to the Korea Exchange.

Busan also hosts several international festivals throughout the year including the Busan International Rock Festival in August and the Busan International Film Festival in October.

The Food + Beverage Outlet …

A buffet breakfast is served each morning in Bistro 314, the hotel’s solitary food and beverage outlet.

A self-service cafe, it serves both domestic and international dishes.

While the restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner, there are several popular eateries in the vicinity.

The Hotel Rooms …

The hotel has 224 guestrooms, with the following room types: standard twins with two single beds, standard kings with one king bed, superior twins with two single beds, super kings with one king bed, and a 485-square-foot family room that includes a separate living room.

Standard rooms and the family room have city views. Superior rooms have partial sea views.

All guest rooms have 49-inch flat screen TVs, work areas with flexible ergonomic desks and chairs, minibars, and safety deposit boxes. Wi-fi is complimentary.

Hotel guest rooms has a modern, zen-like design, with off-white walls, wooden floors, and natural wood and marble accents. Large windows allow in lots of sunlight.

The Facilities …

There are flexible work spaces in the lobby, a well-equipped fitness center, and a fully-equipped meeting room that can accommodate up to 30 people.

The hotel offers on-site parking, but it is not complimentary.

The Location …

The new Fairfield by Marriott Busan is of the closest hotels to Haeundae Beach, a popular beach resort with a boardwalk in one of South Korea’s most scenic coastal regions.

Ideal for both business and leisure travelers, the hotel’s location offers convenient access to major commercial, entertainment, and cultural venues in the area.

Nearby attractions include Moontan Road, MIPO railroad trekking course, Busan Aquarium, and The Bay 101 Yacht Club shopping, dining and entertainment complex to name a few.

Shinsegae Centum City, the world’s largest department store, is located less than two kilometers away from the hotel, and Haeundae Beach is only a three-minute walk away.

Transport

Destined to be one of the top hotel is located seven  minutes’ walk from Haeundae subway station.

The hotel is 21 miles from Busan’s Gimhae international airport. The drive takes about 40 minutes. The hotel does not offer a shuttle service to the airport.
