Travelodge Hotels Asia has opened its first hotel in Korea, the Travelodge Dongdaemun in Seoul, South Korea, the nation’s capital. The hotel is the hotel group's eighth property in Asia. It already has hotels in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, with more Asian hotels in the pipeline.
