What do Tourism New Zealand, Tourism Malaysia, and Tourism Indonesia have in common? Their websites have all made the finals in the Most Engaging Website cateogy of the first ever Digital Innovation Asia Awards.
An awards ceremony will be held on Monday 10 June 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Impactful, Creative, Inspiring
The lineup of finalists reads like a Who’s Who of the travel and tourism industries in the Asia Pacific.
Tourism Australia, Philippines Tourism, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand have been named finalists in the Most Impactful Campaign Category.
For Most Creative Use of Technology, e-Visa Cambodia, Hotel Quickly, and Fingi/Aloft Bangkok have made the finals.
Air New Zealand’s Safety Video, the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Warm Welcome, and Incredible India’s 2013 television commercial have been named finalists in the Most Inspiring Content category.
The announcement was made in Travel Daily News Asia-Pacific in association with Digital Innovation Asia and the Pacific Asia Travel Association – PATA
The awards have been launched “to recognize the most forward thinking yet performance oriented digital innovations in the Asia Pacific travel and tourism industry”.
The DIA Awards will be celebrated at the BED Supperclub in Bangkok on 10 June 2013 from 8.00 to 10.00 pm.
