Intimate and discreet, the restaurant offers a refined omakase experience that blends the elegance of traditional Edomae cuisine with contemporary creativity.

Kiku Omakase is more than a place to eat—it is a stage for culinary craftsmanship, where tradition and innovation meet in harmony.
The Menu at Kiku Omakase
The omakase experience at Kiku is built around a seasonal rotation of dishes that highlight premium ingredients flown in from Japan.
Guests are typically served a multi‑course progression that balances sushi handrolls with small plates, warm dishes, and a sweet finish.
Each menu is designed to showcase the essence of Edomae tradition while allowing for contemporary touches, ensuring that every course feels both authentic and inventive.
My Dining Experience at Kiku Omakase

Our meal began with a comforting soup, a gentle prelude that warmed the palate while setting the stage for the handrolls to follow.

Watari Gani Hand Roll Sweet blue crab paired with onion mayo offered a delicate balance of freshness and creaminess, wrapped in crisp seaweed for texture.

Sake Fish Hand Roll The salmon roll brought a lively contrast, its tomato chilli mayo adding a subtle kick that lifted the richness of the fish.

Negitoro Hand Roll This was the indulgent centerpiece: fatty toro tuna layered with ikura and sea urchin, a luxurious combination that showcased depth and umami.

Unagi Cream Cheese Hand Roll Grilled eel met avocado and cream cheese in a fusion of smoky, creamy, and nutty notes, accented by sesame seeds for crunch.

Akami Zuke Black Truffle Hand Roll Lean tuna marinated in soy was elevated with the earthy aroma of black truffle, a refined finish to the savory sequence.

The omakase concluded with a playful nod to Japanese festival culture: chocolate‑covered banana.
While not a traditional wagashi sweet, this treat is a familiar sight at summer matsuri, where vendors dip bananas in chocolate and decorate them with sprinkles or nuts.
By bringing this street‑food favorite into a fine‑dining setting, Chef Kenji added a whimsical touch that contrasted with the refinement of the preceding handrolls.
It was a lighthearted finale, reminding diners that Japanese cuisine embraces both artistry and fun, and concluding the meal on a sweet, nostalgic note.
