Hong Kong
Why fight the crowds jockeying for a good position and then stand out in the cold to watch the Chinese New Year fireworks over Victoria Harbour when restaurants are offering yummy menus with fabulous views?
Two restaurants in the Wooloomooloo Group – both on the Kowloon Peninsula – are serving special menus for revelers that would prefer to celebrate the Year of the Horse with Western – rather than Chinese – fare.
Both eateries are offering four-course set menus on Saturday 1 February 2014, but that’s where the similarity ends. A four-course dinner with a choice of lamb, rib-eye, or salmon at Wooloomooloo Prime will set you back HK$1,088.
A four course set dinner at Wooloomooloo Steakhouse (TST East) will cost you a more moderate HK$588.
