Britain
Wax representations of Hong Kong movie icons Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee will be flown from Hong Kong and Shanghai and put on display at Madam Tussauds London to welcome the Year of the Horse.
Lion dancing will take place at regular intervals. Fortune cookies – which are practically unheard of in Hong Kong and China – will be given away.
And in case you were wondering, fortune cookies were invented in San Francisco, California – not China. When Chinese people see them for the first time, they usually pick them up and say, “What are these?”
Arriving on 31 January 2014, Jackie and Bruce will remain on display in London through mid-April 2014.
Where
Madam Tussauds London is located adjacent to Baker Street Station. It is open seven days a week, but times vary, so check its website before you visit.
