A five-star hotel has launched drive-through groceries in Bangkok. The selection includes fresh produce, premium meats, artisanal sauces, freshly baked bread, decadent pastries, and complete meals that only need to be heated up.

How It Works
Shoppers can place their order on line, by email, or by phone. And they should place their orders at least one hour in advance.
After placing their orders, shoppers can pick them up between 11 am and 6 pm the same day. And the service is available seven days a week.
People that don’t drive can also take advantage of the new service. They should also place their orders in advance and pick their goods up the hotel’s doors.
While there is no minimum order, a delivery service is not yet available.

Best Drive-through Groceries in Bangkok?
Rosewood Bangkok has launched “On The Move Drive-Through,” a drive-through shopping concept that seems to be catching on in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
While governments are starting to loosen quarantines and lockdowns, many people still do not feel comfortable eating in crowded restaurants. But that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t enjoy a restaurant meal!
Firstly, the hotel is offering pre-cooked meals that only need to be popped in the microwave. In fact, there are healthy meals, low-carb meals, and vegetarian options.
Among the healthful choices are spaghetti squash with chickpeas, roasted salmon glazed with red Pepper coulis, and broccoli quinoa casserole.
Secondly, the hotel is offering a diverse selection of seasonal offerings for those wanting to cook meals themselves. For example, there are garden-fresh vegetable boxes, premium meats, and ready-to-eat artisanal Western and Thai sauces.

Best Drive-through Bakery in Bangkok?
But the selection doesn’t end with groceries and complete meals!
In addition, the hotel is offering bakery items from the hotel’s very own kitchens. For example, there are oven-baked mini baguettes, country breads, multigrain breads, Foccacia, and other bakery items.
And for those with a sweet tooth, the hotel is offering a decadent selection of yummy desserts. Examples include lemon meringue tarts and apple cinnamon crumble tarts.
While the bread, bakery items, and desserts had already been available for sale at the hotel, the butchery items, sauces, green boxes, and healthy meals are new additions.

The drive-through initiative draws inspiration from the hotel group’s commitment to supporting local suppliers.
Under the Rosewood Hotels’ “Partners in Provenance” programme, hotel chefs showcase locally produced ingredients that are fresh, sustainable, and seasonal.
In fact, the policy reflects a growing trend in the hospitality and food and beverage industries toward sourcing ingredients locally and supporting local suppliers.

Rosewood Bangkok is a five-star hotel. Having opened in early 2019, it is the 27th property in the Rosewood Hotels and Resorts chain.
In addition to the hotel in Bangkok. there is another Rosewood property in the Southern Thai island of Phuket.
Rosewood Bangkok is a stand-alone hotel housed in a 30-storey tower. Altogether, the stylish property has 158 rooms, suites, and villas.
