Destination Langkawi

The official name of Langkawi is Langkawi, the Jewel of Kedah. In fact, Kedah is one of 13 states in Malaysia. The Southeast Asian country also has three federal territories.
As an archipelago of 99 islands, Langkawi is a district in Kedah state. However, only four of the islands are inhabited.
Situated in the Andaman Sea, Langkawi is approximately 30 kilometers off the coast of northwestern Malaysia. And the district is near the Thai border.
Langkawi is a geologist’s paradise. There are limestone cliffs, emerald waters, and a tropical rain forest.

Four Seasons Resort Langkawi has 91 guest pavilions and villas. And they feature Moroccan inspired interiors.
They feature blue accents, original art, unique objets d’art, revived teak floors, and antique mirror inlays.
Guest pavilions measure 68 square meters, or 732 square feet. And they all have one king bed plus either two twin beds or one roll-away or one sofa bed. Cribs are available.
There are ground floor and upper floor pavilions. While ground floor pavilions have patios, upper floor pavilions have balconies.
There are two kinds of villas: beach villas and garden villas.
Villas measure from 220 square meters, or 2,369 square feet, to 1,400 square meters, or 6,350 square feet. And they can sleep from up to eight adults or six adults and two children.
All villas have at least one king size bed plus roll-away beds or twin beds. Cribs are available.
Food and Beverage

The Langkawi Four Seasons has four food and beverage outlets. And each one has its own vibe and its own menu.
Serai
Serai – serving Mediterranean cuisine, Serai serves a buffet in the morning and an a la cart menu in the evening. And it is open for breakfast and dinner.
Ikan-Ikan
Ikan-Ikan – serving Malaysian cuisine, Ikan-Ikan overlooks the beach. But it is open for dinner only.
Kelapa Grill
Kelapa Grill – serving Asian stir-fries, wood-fired pizzas, steaks, and other international favourites, Kelapa Grill is an all-day dining restaurant overlooking the swimming pool. Most importantly, it’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Rhu Bar
Rhu Bar – with a Middle Eastern ambiance, Rhu Bar has Turkish water pipes, hanging swings, tropical cocktails, and an extensive beer and wine list. In addition, it serves mouthwatering bar snacks.
