Kuala Lumpur is the capital and largest city of Malaysia. Located in the western part of Peninsular Malaysia, it serves as the country’s financial, commercial, and transportation hub.
The city is known for its modern skyline, anchored by the Petronas Twin Towers, while its population reflects Malaysia’s multicultural heritage, with significant Malay, Chinese, and Indian communities.
As one of Southeast Asia’s leading business and tourism destinations, Kuala Lumpur offers an extensive network of shopping districts, cultural attractions, restaurants, and convention facilities.
Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur – Hotel Overview

Located in Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle district, Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur marks the luxury brand’s entry into the Malaysian capital.
The hotel features 268 suites designed around a residential concept, combining spacious accommodations with personalized service.
Situated close to major attractions such as the Petronas Twin Towers, Bukit Bintang, and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, the property serves as both a luxury retreat and a social destination for dining, celebrations, and business gatherings.
The hotel’s design draws inspiration from Malaysian artistry and craftsmanship, blending contemporary luxury with local cultural influences throughout its public spaces and accommodations.
Meet Me at the Clock

One of the hotel’s signature features is the clock, which is positioned on the wall of Peacock Alley, the hotel’s signature social space.
Crafted from bronze and illuminated glass, its design takes inspiration from historic Islamic astrolabes found in the collection of the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia.
The clock is reminiscent of the clock at the original Waldorf Astoria in New York, which has served as a meeting point for generations of guests, giving rise to the expression, “Meet me at the clock.”
At each Waldorf Astoria around the world, there is a clock. But its design always reflects the local culture, rather than being a copy of the clock in New York.
