Health and Fitness

The Marvel 10K Weekend was held at Hong Kong Disneyland on the weekend of 16 and 17 September 2017. The event was co-organized by the Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association. Different races will be held for different age groups.

A record-breaking 10,000 runners took part in the event this year. They took part in four races:  the Captain America 10K, Thor 5K, Spider-Man 3K, and Kid Races.

By running in HKDL and being cheered by Disney Friends along race route, these
runners enjoyed a race experience like no other in Hong Kong.

All registered runners in the Marvel 10K Weekend received a Marvel Runner Pack with an event T-shirt, a race bib, and other items. Runners completing the race received a Super Hero medal when they crossed the finish line.

Super Heroes at Hong Kong Disneyland

Hong Kong might have the dubious distinction of hosting the world’s smallest Disneyland theme park, but Hong Kong Disneyland was chosen as the launchpad for the world’s first Disney Super Heroes attraction.

The Iron Man Experience was launched at Hong Kong Disneyland on 11 January 2017. It was the first Marvel-themed ride to be launched at any of the Disney theme parks.

More Super Heroes attractions are planned for Hong Kong Disneyland.

Many of the participants taking part in the event came dressed as their favourite Super Hero, and the three best dressed runners won prizes.

Not surprisingly, a range of souvenir merchandise was on sale during Marvel 10K Weekend 2017. Souvenirs included water bottles, towels, T-shirts, and pins.

The event followed hot on the heels of Marvel Super Hero Summer, which ran from 14 June through 3 September 2017.

Where to Stay at Hong Kong Disneyland
