Cebu Adventure Part Eight
Michael Taylor is flown from Hong Kong to Cebu on Cebu Pacific Air. Spending his first few nights on the resort island of Mactan, he moves to Cebu City on the seventh full night of his 11 day stay.
I’m not sure quite what it is about the Business Class room that I am booked into at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cebu, but as soon as my greeter leaves, I open my suitcase and start putting things away.
I hang my shirts in the closet and lay my other clothes in the drawers.
I then set up my computer at the well laid out work station. I put my toiltries in the bathroom.
Home Away from Home
There is something about the room that makes me feel comfortably at home. At the other hotels I’ve stayed at so far I never bothered putting things away. I just lived out of my suitcase.
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Cebu, is located in the heart of Cebu, the second largest city in the Philippines after Manila, the Nation’s Capitol. It is across the street from SM, one of the largest shopping malls in the country.
A five star hotel, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cebu, has 400 rooms and suites, an all day restaurant with extensive buffets at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a lobby lounge and a snack bar by the outdoor swimming pool.
There are also conferene facilities, a gym, and a spa.
Executive Lounge
I have access to the Executive Lounge, where breakfast is served until 10 am. There are also refreshments in the afternoon and a happy hour from 6 to 8 pm in the evening.
The snacks are amazing. This is one of the best Executive Lounge happy hours I’ve come across in my many travels. The mango salad that is served on my first night is out of this world!
