Nashville, Tennessee, is home to more than 3,000 musicians and 180 recording studios. Here’s a quick guide to what to do in Music City after you’ve been to the Grand Ole Opry.

Known as Music City, Nashville is home to more than 5,000 musicians. The city also has about 180 recording studios.

Tourist attractions include the Music City Walk of Fame, the Grand Ole Opry, the Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Ryman Auditorium, a replica of the Parthenon,  Lake Watunga in Centennial Park – the list goes on.

In addition to being an important centre of Country and Western Music, Nashville is also a great sports town with 2 professional sports franchises.

The Tennessee Titans compete in the Southern Division of the American Football Conference of the National Football League (NFL).

The Nashville Predators are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL).

The 2016 NHL Skills Competition and the 2016 NHL All-Star Game will be held in Nashville on 30 and 31 January, respectively.

Nashville International Airport (BNA) is the 32nd busiest airport in the United States. It is served by several domestic airlines and is a focus city for Southwest Airlines.

JetBlue Airways added Nashville, Tennessee, to its growing list of travel destinations on 6 May 2016.

Service commenced with 2 daily nonstop flights to Boston, Massachusetts, and one daily nonstop flight to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood in Florida.

The airline operates Airbus A320 aircraft on the 2 routes. Cabins feature leather seats and more legroom than other airlines in coach.
