Pacific Northwest Travelogue Part 9
During Michael Taylor’s 9 night stay in Seattle, the city’s trendy Capitol Hill district plays host to the 6th annual Capital Hill Pride Festival, which takes place on Saturday 28 June 2014.
Five blocks of Broadway in Seattle, Washington’s trendy Capitol Hill district were awash in the colours of the rainbow on Saturday 28 June 2014 as the city’s Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, and Bisesxual (LGTB) community and their supporters celebrated 40 years of pride at the 6th annual Capital Hill Pride Festival.
There was live music, lots of food, more than 100 booths, and countless photo opps! In addition to non-profits and community groups were many mainstream businesses, which are increasingly seeing the value of catering to the Pink Dollar.

Seattle Men in Leather was one of many non-profit community groups having a booth at the 6th annual Capital Hill Pride Festival.
My nephew, Erik Taylor, was named Washington State Mr Leather 2014 by the group. He helped man the Leather Pride booth.
