However, with more than 300 hotels in Las Vegas to choose from, finding the right spot can be a challenge. This guide breaks it down—walkability to the stadium, parking, facilities, breakfast, and – most important – hidden fees!

Where to Stay for Raiders Games

These Las Vegas hotels near Allegiant Stadium are ideal for NFL fans who want to stay close to the action. We’ve considered location, parking options, amenities, and overall value.

Is breakfast included? Do they they have a swimming pool? What about a fitness room? Do they charge for parking?

Staying within walking distance of Allegiant Stadium offers clear advantages: no traffic jams, no parking stress, and the chance to soak in the pre-game energy with fellow fans.

The pedestrian-friendly Hacienda Bridge connects several hotels directly to the stadium, making it possible to stroll to kickoff in 10 to 15 minutes. One caveat: it can be brutally hot during pre-season and early to mid-September.

Parking Costs: Stadium vs. Hotels

If you’re driving into Vegas or renting a car, you’ll need to weigh the cost and convenience of stadium parking versus leaving your vehicle at the hotel. Stadium parking can run $75–$100+ on game day, and spots must be reserved in advance.

Hotel parking is typically more affordable, ranging from $20–$30 per day, and some properties offer free parking for guests. Walking from your hotel may not only save money — it can also save time, especially when pre- and post-game traffic clogs the roads around the stadium.

Airport Shuttles to Las Vegas Hotels

If you’re flying to Las Vegas for a Raiders game, a Rebels game, a rock concert, or a high-profile prize fight, there’s another option worth considering: skip the rental car altogether and take a shuttle from Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport directly to your hotel.

Shared airport shuttles like Bell Trans and GO Airport Shuttle offer reliable service to Strip and downtown hotels starting around $15–$17 per person. These shuttles run 24/7, with curb-side pickup at both airport terminals, and can be booked in advance. It’s a budget-friendly way to get settled quickly — and it means you won’t have to worry about parking.

How Long Should You Stay in Las Vegas?

Three Nights (Ideal Option): If you want the full Las Vegas experience, a long weekend is ideal. Arriving two days before the game, concert, or prize fight gives you time to explore the Strip, enjoy top-tier dining, take in a show, and soak in the entertainment scene. It also lets you settle in without rushing, and gives you a buffer in case of travel delays. You’ll have one full day before the game, game day itself, and a relaxing departure the day after.

Two Nights (Balanced Option): Two nights is a solid choice if you’re looking for a balance between time and budget. You can arrive the day before the game, enjoy the pre-game atmosphere, and fly out the next day. This gives you enough time to enjoy the city and the game without feeling too rushed.

One Night (Quick Option): If you’re pressed for time — or short of cash — a one-night stay might be your only option, especially if it’s a short flight and you pick a hotel with easy check-in/out. But timing is everything. Should you arrive the day before the game and leave after it? Or should you arrive on game day and spend the night?

If it’s an afternoon game with a 1 pm kickoff, you’d probably want to fly in the day before and enjoy all the pre-game festivities. However, if it’s an evening game, it might make more sense to spend the night in Las Vegas and return home the following day.

Hotel Pricing – Taxes and Hidden Costs

Hotel pricing in Las Vegas can be confusing, especially for first-time or international visitors. The price you see when booking your room is rarely the final amount you’ll pay. Here’s how it breaks down:

Advertised Price (Base Rate): This is the price you see when searching for a hotel. It usually excludes taxes and resort fees—even when booking directly through the hotel’s own website.

Booking Price: Local and state taxes—totaling 13.38%—are typically added when you book your room. These apply only to the advertised base rate.

Resort Fees: Many Las Vegas hotels—especially those on the Strip—charge a flat daily resort fee of $35–$55, regardless of the room price. This fee is also taxed, and the combined total is added when you check out of the hotel.

  • Wi-Fi (in-room and public areas)
  • Pool and fitness center access
  • Local and toll-free calls
  • Boarding pass printing
  • Digital newspaper access

BTW, these fees are charged whether or not you actually use any of these services.

4. Hotels Without Resort Fees Most budget-friendly hotels in the Stadium Area—such as Fairfield Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, and others—do not charge resort fees.

These properties offer more transparent pricing and are popular with cost-conscious travelers. BTW, most of them include breakfast and have swimming pools and fitness rooms.

5. Other Possible Charges Many hotels charge for parking, especially on the Strip. Always check the hotel’s policy before booking.

6. Price Surges Hotels near Allegiant Stadium often raise rates significantly for major events such as Raiders games and concerts.

Prices can spike by 50% to more than 200%, and the surge typically lasts 2–3 nights around the event.

Booking early with a refundable rate is your best bet — it lets you lock in a decent price before demand drives it up. Keep an eye on prices and rebook if they drop, but don’t wait too long: last-minute rates can be sky-high.
