Pullman Khao Lak Resort is a newly opened beachfront hotel in southern Thailand.
Because of COVID-19, it is difficult for foreign tourists to visit Thailand for the time being.
As a result, the hotel is encouraging Thai residents to take a “Workation” at the five-star property.
With superfast Wi-Fi, hotel guests can stay connected not only in their hotel room.
In addition, they can go online throughout the property. And that extends not only to the gardens and the poolside. In fact, it also extends to the beach!
Destination Khao Lak
A collection of villages, Khao Lak is located in the Takua Pa District of Phang Nga Province.
And the district is known for its sandy beaches, which collectively stretch for 25 kilometers, or 16 miles.
Khao Sok National Park is situated in nearby Surat Thani province.
And it is famous for the mudstone rocks and limestone mountains that soar as high as 3,177 feet, or 950 meters.
The closest airport is Phuket International Airport. And the airfield is approximately 35 miles, or 57 kilometers, away.

The Pullman Khao Lak Resort is located along sandy Bang Muang Beach.
In fact, the resort is just south of the historic town of Takua Pa in the northern part of Phang Nga province.
Additionally, it is 30 minutes from the virgin rainforests of Khao Sok National Park.

- Kram Beach Club – overlooking the pool and the beach, Kram Beach Club serves international light fare, healthy bites, seafood, and Mediterranean dishes. And a DJ spins the discs after dark.
- The Junction – located in the lobby, this cafe serves a rotating menu of everything from freshly baked pastries to mouth-watering wraps.
- The Hub Pool Bar – a poolside bar serving tropical shakes, ice-cold beer, and light bites.

The beachfront resort has a lagoon-style swimming pool, which meanders through the property. And as an avid swimmer, I would love to do laps in that pool!
In addition, there is a 24-hour fitness center and a full-service spa. And activities include yoga, meditation. and stretching. In addition, the resort offers paddle boarding, surfing. and other water sports.
