Vancouver Canucks Team History

The Vancouver Canucks are a Canadian professional ice hockey team. The Canucks compete in Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The Vancouver Canucks were founded in 1945. First they played in the Pacific Coast Hockey League (PCHL). Then they played in the Western Hockey League (WHL). Finally, they joined the NHL as an expansion team in 1970,
The Vancouver Canucks have won ten division championships. And they have also won two Presidents’ Trophies. In addition, they have won three conference championships.
Unfortunately, they have never won the Stanley Cup. Could this be their lucky year?
The Canucks play home games at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. In fact, the arena was formerly known as General Motors Place. However, many fans call it “The Garage”.
